About Me: I am totally in love with engineering, and have had an incredible time being a part of SWE. I am an undergrad researcher in the Masters lab, play violin in All University Strings, am a LEED (Leaders in Engineering Excellence and Diversity) Scholar, and am really involved in the WISE learning community. I believe outreach and promoting women in STEM fields is my way of giving back to those who led me to where I am today, and SWE is the perfect place to do that.

My Involvement with SWE: I knew I was going to join SWE right away, and started my first semester freshman year. I began with the Community Service, Freshman, and Girl Scout committees. I then became Freshman Committee Chair. This year I am VP finance and am very excited to join the executive team. I have been a Distinguished Member for four semesters and Iā€™m so excited for this next year!

Job Experience: I am currently a Peer Mentor for the WISE learning community on campus. I work in the Masters lab, and this past summer I was Desk Staff for University Housing.

Favorite Class/Professor: My favorite class so far was Math 222 with Professor Erman. He was an incredible teacher and I ended up really enjoying the subject!

Favorite Babcock Ice Cream Flavor: A tie between Mocha Mocchiato and Chocolate Peanut Butter
