About Me: Hello! This is my first year in Madison and I absolutely love it! When I’m not doing homework, preferably in a coffee shop, I’m baking goodies for my floor, watching White Collar, or making pottery at the Wheelhouse.

My Involvement with SWE: This is my first year being in SWE. It was fantastic going to the multiple Mechanical Engineering family and general SWE events, but I am extremely excited to participate in SWE as a new officer.

Favorite Thing To Do On Campus: My favorite thing to do on campus is to wake up early and wander the farmer’s market with friends. I love all of the different farmers and booths and the produce is delicious.

Favorite Class/Professor: My favorite class has been Intro to Mechanical Engineering. I loved the number of labs, and getting the hands-on experience was fantastic!

Favorite Babcock Ice Cream Flavor: My absolute favorite Babcock ice cream flavor is the mint cookie one, however often times it is not in the rotation or it is sold out.

Other Activities/Organizations:I am currently in the Greenhouse Learning Community. my learning community is focused on sustainability and developing an environmental consciousness in its members. Throughout the year we have gone on trips to Devil’s Lake and Picnic Point. We also have multiple seminars that focus on environmental sustainability and environmental justice.
