ABOUT ME: I grew up in the Twin Cities, Minnesota area, so it was a little bit of a shock to my family when I decided to become a Wisconsin Badger instead of a Minnesota Golden Gopher. I also have had the opportunity to be a leader with SWE; I was the Special events officer my sophomore year, the Vice President of Communications the first half of my junior year, and President last year. I love being a part of SWE! It is such a great opportunity to meet people, make friends, learn some about the professional world, and try out many different and fun activities. I encourage you all to try a new SWE event this year and meet some new people while you’re there. I hope to see you around at SWE events this year =)

WORK EXPERIENCE: I had an internship with Kraft Foods R&D in summer 2009. I also had a co-op with Bemis starting the second semester of my junior year (spring 2010) and going through summer 2010.
