Professional Development Track

The Professional Development Track covers topics for all SWE members, ranging from new collegiate to experienced professional.  This track is for those who wish to learn new skills and methods to succeed and advance in their professional endeavors.  Participants will hear knowledge from professional representatives who are excited to share their wisdom and experiences.

Personal Development Track

The Personal Development Track contains a multitude of topics for SWE’s members that will help members to maximize their life outside of engineering, work, and school.  This track provides great insight on how to get the most out of the time we are given.  Participants will enjoying hearing from a wide variety of speakers who are eager to share the secrets to success.

Executive Track

The Executive Track is a new track directed at SWE’s professional members.  This track brings executive level people from a variety of backgrounds to share their stories, recommend tips for success, and encourage members to continue to achieve success.  Participants in these sessions will enjoy the perspectives of individuals who are near the top of the corporate ladder and will take away some wisdom from these experienced professionals.

Outreach Track

The Outreach Track is a powerful resource for SWE’s members and engineering outreach and educational programs.  This track is for those who currently deliver or want to begin delivering outreach programs that inspire and support girls to study and pursue careers in engineering.  Sessions in this track allow for participants to learn, network, and share experiences in order to further SWE’s mission of Aspire, Advance, and Achieve through outreach!

SWE Track

The SWE Track is filled with sessions for members to gain skills to positively impact their SWE sections.  These sessions are led by many leaders within SWE’s Region H team and provide helpful insight to take your SWE section to the next level.  During the Session 1 hour, there are four core sessions that are recommended for the President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary of each section.  Your section should send at least one representative to each of these sessions to learn the information.  After the conference, these representatives should communicate the information back to one another in order to get the maximum benefit for your section.

Technical & Academic Track

The Technical & Academic Track is directly focused for SWE’s members with an interest in gaining more technical or academic knowledge.  Presentations will be given by professors and SWE members with technical experience.  Participants in these sessions will benefit from the learning more about the career paths and opportunities for women in academia and technical positions.
