SWE INVOLVEMENT: As a freshman, I quickly became involved in SWE International Outreach as the Logistics Director! Aside from International Outreach, I worked closely with Memorial High School, as the School Outreach Officer, to create a SWENext group so high schoolers have an opportunity to learn more about Engineering at a young age.
JOB EXPERIENCE: I am currently an undergraduate researcher at the Biomedical Genomic Research Group where I work to study the effects of lipid oxidation products on lipid accumulation in 3T3-L1 adipocytes using cell culture. Furthermore, I was also an intern at Infoweb Systems where I refined my skills in Python during the Summer of 2019.
