Year: Junior
Major: Industrial Engineering
Hometown: Bethesda, Maryland
SWE INVOLVEMENT: I first learned about SWE when I participated on Day on Campus my senior year in high school. Since then, I’ve been (am still am) impressed by what SWE does and stands for. I was a part of the Industrial Engineering family my first semester freshman year and have been a member since. Last year I was the Fundraising Chair for the fall semester. And now this year, I am proud and excited to serve as the VP of External Relations!
JOB EXPERIENCE: In high school, I interned at my local police department in the Firearms Examination Unit. A couple summers after that, I interned at the U.S. Department of Commerce working on how national security affects our economy’s supply chains. This past spring semester, I was a co-op at the Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL restructuring some scheduling and delivery process in their resorts.
FAVORITE THING TO DO ON CAMPUS: Canoe in Lake Mendota with some friends and then get ice cream on the Terrace afterwards 🙂
FAVORITE BABCOCK ICE CREAM FLAVOR: Babcock ice cream flavor: Hands down Bec-Key Lime Pie. No question.
OTHER CAMPUS INVOLVEMENT: Hoofer Outing Club, Chinese American Student Association
