JOB EXPERIENCE: 

Delve – Mechanical Engineering Intern – Madison, WI (September 2020- Present)

  • Used SolidWorks to design open-source, universal, easy-to-print phone mount for educational robot. The mount allowed user to program and film simultaneously
  • Soldered and built electrical actuators to be mechanically tested for torque and loading to ensure quality assurance for major automotive manufacturer
  • Measured and recorded temperature and load data as part of the prototyping and testing process for various projects
  • Reviewed BOMs to ensure parts comply with CE, UL, and ISO industry standards EDsnaps Inc.- Mechanical Engineering Intern, June – August 2020, New York City
  • Developed robotics curriculum for STEM courses geared towards high school students
  • Introduced concepts such as design thinking, Raspberry Pi, Introduction to coding and electronics Maydm Mentor, June-August 2021, Madison
  • Coached middle school students enrolled in the Girls in STEM program by working through weekly software projects and offering feedback based on my experience and expertise Adaptive Design Association- Engineering Intern, May-June 2019, New York City
  • Working with parents of children with disabilities to understand the limitations of their child, I designed and built low cost yet durable adaptive equipment using workshop tools like bandsaws, table saws, and sanders
  • Assisted in workshops for visiting students and professionals to learn the basics of cardboard carpentry

FAVORITE BABCOCK ICE CREAM FLAVOR: I love running around campus. Listening to music and looking around me at the people and cool places is something I look forward to when sitting inside in the cold!
