Scholarship Postings

To give back to our amazing community, Fresh Prints has granted over $40,000 in scholarships since 2018. This April, we’re awarding three $2,000 scholarships to deserving students!

We’d love to hear from Society of Women Engineers members. Will you forward them this email? We’ll accept apps until May 15th, but we’re assessing them and granting the scholarships on a rolling basis so anyone interested should apply today.

Here’s the application link. It takes about 15 minutes to apply. We ask students for a < 300 word essay about their life goals and the role college plays in achieving those.

In case you want more info about the scholarship and Fresh Prints, check out this article!

Job Posting

I am an engineer at the Physical Sciences Laboratory in Stoughton, WI and we are looking to hire a number of student engineers for the summer so I’m reaching out to various engineering student orgs. I’ve attached a file summarizing the position and interested students can apply at the link below. If you need additional information please email me.
My name is Ryan Okerson, I am the design engineer at Terraform Industries. We are a seed stage green-tech startup based out of Burbank, near Los Angeles.

We are highly motivated to build a diverse, talented team to work at Terraform. General fields are including but not limited to mechanical, chemical, high power engineering, control systems, and assay, specifically applied to fluidized bed reactors, electrolysers and catalytic reactors. Can you please introduce us to top students who may be interested in talking with us about an internship or joining us full time?
In more detail, we are building a development prototype for scalable hydrocarbon synthesis via catalytic hydrogenation of CO2 to methane. The prototype has three main systems, direct air capture of CO2, hydrogen generation, and methane synthesis. We’ve published our whitepaper online and we’re happy to answer any questions you may have about our approach.
